This 5MP tiny camera hasn’t disappointed me since I bought it. The picture quality is beyond what I had expected, so is the response. The flash recharging time issue (i.e. sluggishness) seems to be resolved on this model, comparing with Optio S40 which is so slowwww.. The given functions (i.e., digital filter, panorama, etc.) are numerous, and I still have to spend some time to adept at them...
Strengths: good picture, normal batteries so no need to carry charger, wheel on top makes it easy to change to the type of picture you are taking. easy menu. very very small
Weakness: small lcd screen
I thinks this is the best small camera on the market today. I like not having to charge batteries, because they run low at the worse time. It is extremely small and fits in your pocket. 5 megapixils is just perfect and 3x optical lens is good.
Strengths: A lot of functions. Big LCD screen for it's size. Records nice movie, almost as good as a camcorder. Uses Secure Digital/mmc. Decent price.
Weakness: Battery, battery, battery. Poor Support.
Bought it new for X'mas from Internet. Maybe it was just my luck - It would prompt on enter the datetime everytime you turn it on - it seems that the BIOS battery is dead, and it would remember any settings. I am using the best Ni-MH rechargable I could find, but still taking shots have long delays, and you need to change it every 20 shots or so - I feel like I am using a camera in the 1980s....
Strengths: ultra compact, very good image quality, gr8 price for a 5 MPx camera.
Weakness: does not come with adapter.
some of the images if not focussed properly are blurred. Got it at around $280 . The price has gone down to about $ 230.

Decent outdoor camera
Strengths: size, great outdoor daytime pictures
Weakness: most pics not taken outdoors on a sunny day are dark
I was very excited to get this camera, but I have been very disappointed with its indoor performance. Most of our indoor pictures came out very dark and needed adjusted by the software that comes with the camera. Outdoor pictures on a sunny day are fantastic. We wanted the camera for traveling, but we are now planning to purchase a second camera for our primary camera, and just use this one as an...
